〖Duties of the bureau〗

1. Carrying out the guidelines, policies, laws and regulations of the state, province and municipal government
2. Carrying out the object, policies and measures of the controlling of the price level in the district, stabilizing the gross level of the price in the market.
3. Drafting and submitting the plans on price of the commodities and the service designated and directed by the government according to the regulated right limit.
4. Testing, forecasting and systematically analyzing the market price trends throughout the district, putting forward the suggestions and measures on the market price controlling and publicizing the market prices information; supervising on the prices of key commodities and service; putting forward controlling measure for the sudden increasing or decreasing of commodity price; controlling price level according to the government determinations.
5. Research and put forward opinions on the initiation of the price adjusting fund in the district, and drafting detailed rules on its managing and execution and supervising its execution.
6. Directing, supervising and regulating the price activities, organizing corresponding supervising and testing; checking and punishing the crime cases and behaviors on price, undertaking the inquisition of such cases.
7. Together with the financial departments administrating the administrative charging; and testing and examining the work every year.
8. Providing service in the district on price approval, appraisal and etc.
9. Taking responsibility in the research of the cost and incomes of the industrial and agricultural products which is required by the state, province, and municipal government to support the decisions of the leaders.
