〖General situation of the bureau〗

The sanitation bureau of Fushan district, Yantai is a functional departmentof the district charging in sanity work with three sections, office, political industry section and operation section. The basic functions are as following: carrying out the guidelines, policies and regulations on the sanity work of the province, municipal government; managing the sanity cause throughout the district, developing anti-virus work, lifting the health level of the people in Fushan district.

〖Duty of the bureau〗

1. Carrying out the guidelines, policies, law, regulations, and the sanity standard and the regulations on the technological operations, drafting opinions and method on how to put them into effective and supervising its execution.
2. Study out the general plan on the development of the sanity cause in the district; plan as a whole and coordinating the collocation of the sanity resources in the district, directing the drafting and execution of the sanity development in the district, managing the sanity statistics and information work.
3. Studying out work plan and policies on the country sanity, community sanity and women and children health, directing the execution of elementary health plan and the special technology on the mother-and-child sanity.
4. Carrying out the guideline of putting effort on prevention and improving the health situation of the people in the district, studying out plan on the prevention against the dangerous deceases, organizing the comprehensive prevention against the dangerous deceases, organizing and arranging the sanity technological strengths to assist the government in the urgent epidemic situations; handling decease cases with quick respond, preventing and controlling the spreading of the epidemics and the deceases.
