〖Responsibility of the Bureau〗

1. To implement guidelines, policies, laws, regulations on zoological environment construction, forestry resources protection and the country greening instituted by the Central government, provincial government or municipal government; to draft policies and regulations document on forestry work of the district in representation of the district government, and to put them into practice.
2. Draft middle- and long-term plan on forestry development in our district and put them into practice.
3. Initiate work on afforestation and greening, sealing passes of a mountain for the sake of forestation, and direct work on prevention against water and soil loss and sandstorm; direct the management of the forestry resources (including woods for various uses such as for shelter, for charcoal production, for wood production, for economics, or for other special applications); direct the production and sale of the seeds and young woods, the supervision and testing of the quality and the approval of the fine species.
