6、Cooperated with the related department in the development of the grain and oil market, direct the build-up and management of the grain and oil market throughout the district, organize the magnitude management of the grain market throughout the whole district, transfer between the rich area and the poor ones, balance the price of the grain and oil in order to stablize the market and strengthen the control and supervise of the government.
7、Corn bureau is in charge of the layout and construction of corn and oil facilities, storehouses and oilcans. It also takes charge in the examination, evaluation and proposal for establishment of facilities construction and technology reconstruction. At the same time it is concerned with the construction, supervising and management of the corn and oil conservation system throughout the district.
8、The corn bureau take responsibility in the appraisal and popularization of the technological fruits in the corn and oil system. It is also in cooperation with other departments in the supervising and management of the quality and measurement standard of the corn and oil, as well as organizing the cooperation and communication with foreign economical organizations.
9、Executing the government corn supplying policy to safeguard the corn and oil supply for the army in the district, in charge of the construction and layout of the supplying net of government corn.
10、Organize and direct the development of the corn industry, direct the corporation operation and management, safe production and spiritual civilization construction in the system, and take responsibility in workers training in the corn system.
11、Manage the corn finance and state capitals, organize executing the state policies on financial and statistical systems, direct and supervise the finance, statistics work in the system.
12、 Undertake other items turned over by the district committee and district government.
