duty of the department ―
1、The corn bureau is in
the duty of executing the policies and regulations
on corn trade and reservation made by the
state, provincial, municipal or district
governments, as well as research and draft
local policies on corn trade and reservation.
2、Research to draft the development goal,
middle and long term plan, year-round income
and expenses plan, export and import plan
on the circulation and the reservation of
the corns, as well as executing the plans.
3、According to the purchasing policies made
by the People¨s Republic of China, Shandon
Province and the municipal government, direct
the grain corporations throughout the district
in the purchasing of the grains, and in
charge of the souces of the grains to strengthen
the control of the government on the grain
market.
4、Strengthen the management of the local
conservative of the grain and oils, organize
or direct the local organizations in the
purchasing, conservative, transfer and alter
transactions, arrange the market according
the management right, execute the policies
on handling the grains or oils produced
in the other year as well as organize to
execute it, by this way the safety of the
grain should be accertained.
5、Make plans and measures to work against
the urgent situations. In order to assure
the supply of the grains and oils to the
people in this district in the situation
of the urgent, strengthening continuously
the safeguarding function of the government;
arranging for aiding work by volunteer work
and assuring oil and corn supply for the
key items in province, city and district.
