〖Duties of the bureau〗

1. to implement the guidelines, policies of central, provincial and municipal government on economics development, and macroscopic economics regulation; to take participation in the draft of the economics development and middle and long term scheme; to draft and organize the implementing of recent object of economics procedure; to supervise and analyze the situation of national economics in the district; to regulate the daily running of the national economics and to solve the significant problems occurred during the running of the economics
2. to organize the implementing of related industrial policies of the central, provincial and municipal government; to direct the regulation of industrial structure; to put forward the structure adjusting scheme for significant industries and significant products and put them into practice; to connect with the agencies in the society in the industrial and commercial field and direct the renovation and regulation of the agencies.
3. to organize and draft comprehensive economics regulations and policies on industry and trade in the district and organize the supervision and checking on implementing; to direct the legislative work in the industrial and commercial corporations; to collect, tidy and publicize economics information.
4. to direct the related department in industrial scheme; to draft industrial layout in mechanism, chemical, electronics, light industry, architecture materials, power, metallurgy, etc; to administrate on the whole industries, such as finished oil station, coal operation station, pawnbroking, bidding block, pigs butchering, dangerous chemicals, trade nets, secondary hand exchange market; to take responsibility in the construction of the projects of vegetable basket and rice bags.
5. To study and scheme investment layout of the competition industries in the district, to publicize project investment guiding directory regularly; to direct the orientation of the application of the investment of the commercial and industrial corporations and the loan of the commercial banks other than the appropriate of the government; to register, document and supervise on the technology renovation programs; to take participation in the direction of the direct financial action of the corporations; to put forward policies on encouraging the technology innovation of the corporations and put them into practice.
