〖Duty of the department〗

(1) carrying out the law, regulation and policies of the state, province or municipal government on safe production, and the safe production regulation, rules and standards of the mineral (all referred to non-coal mountain in the following) trade and the dangerous chemical products; drafting the policies regulation documents on safe production throughout the district as well as organizing the corresponding execution.
(2) Synthetically managing the safe production work throughout the district, and analyzing and forecasting the safe production situation throughout the district; drafting the safe production work plan of the district; directing, coordinating and supervising the execution of the safe production law and regulations by the related department of the district; supervising and directing the responsibility system of the safe production.
(3) Systematically managing the accidence reporting and statistics work throughout the district, taking responsibility of distributing the safe production information, organizing, cooperating the research and handling of the accidence, approving and answering for the accidence research as well as the situation of carrying out.
(4) Directing and cooperating the testing and examining work of the safe production throughout the district. Organizing related departments and experts for test and examine, security appraisal, security training, security consultancy and etc on the safe production condition and the related facilities of the mineral trade and dangerous chemical products production units, as well as the corresponding supervision and examination work.
