   In 2003 the GDP in Fushan district amounted to RMB5.02 billion, the local financial income was RMB0.96 billion. The retail of the consumption of the society summed to RMB1.15 billion, the personal disposable income of the city residence is RMB858, the per capita net income as RMB3939, and the remainder of the save of the residence, both the villagers and the citizens, are RMB2.9billion.

〖Transport and communication〗

    Fushan is endowed with convenient communications; the district government is no more than 14 kilometers far away from Yantai seaport, railway station, and airport. Lancun-Yantai railway is crossing from the South to the North, there are 4 passenger-stations in this area, and the on-built Delong Yan railway will cross from South to the north. There are 4 national roads across Fushan, including Tongsan highway and Yantai circle-city highway. The roads in this area cover 287km. As for communication facilities in this area, it has already realized digital control in both agricultural and citizen telephone. The capacity of citizen telephone exchange is 38 thousand and capacity of citizen telephone exchange is 40 thousand. The popularization rate of telephone has reached to 85 in every 100 families. We have also invested to construct broadband metropolitan area network, with power of kilo mega to community, hundred of mega to building and 10 mega to table.
